The transition to university or college can be overwhelming, bringing new academic, social, and emotional challenges. This transition can also be challenging for parents as they adjust to changing roles, increased independence, and having their child away from home. I offer support to help students adjust, manage stress, and develop skills for success, as well as support for parents navigating this new stage of their relationship with their child.
I help students navigate:
✔ Adjusting to independence, family expectations, & cultural shifts
✔ Balancing academics, work, & personal life
✔ Building confidence, resilience, & self-advocacy
✔ Imposter syndrome, self-doubt, & perfectionism
✔ Managing academic stress, workload, & expectations
✔ Mental health challenges, including anxiety & burnout
✔ Peer pressure, friendships, & social challenges
✔ Time management, organization, & study strategies
I help students build resilience, develop coping strategies, and navigate their academic and personal lives with confidence.
I also support parents who may be experiencing worry, difficulty letting go, changing family dynamics, or the emotional adjustment of having a child away at university or college.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to go through it alone. Booking your first session is simple.
